Dearborn Symphony Orchestra
RACH & ROLL

The Dearborn Symphony kicks off their 62nd season with orchestra favorites turned swing band blast. The concert opens with a jazz rendition of Grieg's Hall of the Mountain King arranged by living composer, Sam Hyken, and is followed by a Beatles medley with 13 memorable songs of pop's music greatest act. After intermission, the orchestra welcomes Aristo Sham for his debut performance in Dearborn. Hailed by the New York Times as a pianist "whose playing combines clarity, elegance and abundant technique", Sham will be featured in Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2, widely described as the greatest piano concerto ever written.

Don't miss this exciting season full of blockbuster concerts. The talented musicians of the Dearborn Symphony under the baton of Maestro Steven Jarvi offer something for everyone this season. Come see for yourself why we have been named "Outstanding Community Orchestra" by Detroit Music Awards, a record six times.
