Sponsored by Dearborn Recreation’s Cultural Arts and Senior Services Divisions, this multi-generational program provides teens, adults, and senior residents a chance to discover life enhancing experiences through the arts. Imaginative Writing & BookmakingTuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday August 9, 10, & 112 to 4 p.m. in the Wet Rooms and on the grounds of the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center Learn what you really think. Take delight in the awesome power of imagination. Unique life experiences and insights allow you to express what no one else can. Create several books to contain your writing using a variety of bookmaking techniques. ArtVenture instructors Anne Gautreau, educator and writer, and art educator, Wendy Sample, believe that awakening your senses through writing and visual arts is key. Exploring Digital PhotographyTuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday August 23, 24, and 252 to 4 p.m. in the Wet Rooms and on the grounds of the Ford Community & Performing Arts CenterExperience fine art digital photography with photographer, Teresa Lousias. These sessions will cover photographic techniques, terminology, critiques, and the art of “seeing.” All participants must bring a digital camera with which they are familiar.
