Dearborn Community Concert Band

On October 30, 2019 at 8:00 pm, Dearborn Community Concert Band, conducted by Jeffery Oshnock, will be playing a mix of your classic favorites. For those who have not quite let go of those warm sunny days, the band selected a medley from the one and ony Sounds of Summer themselves, The Beach Boys. For change in seasons, the 1945 jazz standard "Autumn Leaves" may set the tone and get those toe's tapping. The band will keep the lively feeling with a couple of Ragtime staples, "Alexander's Ragtime Band" and "Alkali Ike Rag" as well as a change of pace in the form of a surprise with a Leonard Bernstein selection from West Side Story. These are just a few of the highlights hand selected and sure to please. In addition Bryant Middle School Jazz Band, directed by Ben Garrison, will be opening the show with a few surprises of their own. Admission is free. Donations are welcome, never expected, but always highly appreciated. Come and join us!
