Scotty Productions presents "Spring Doo Wop Festival". This performance will feature several well-known groups from the 1050's and 1960's, including Larry Chance & The Earls ("I Believe, "Remember Then," and "Life is But A Dream") from Brooklyn, New York; Joey Dee & The Starliters, who put the Peppermint Lounge in New York City on the map with their 1962 chart-topping hit "The Peppermint Twist;" The Crests, featuring Tommy Mara, "The Pavarotti of Doo Wop," ("16 Candles," "Step By Step," "Angels Listened In" and "Trouble in Paradise"); The Spaniels ("Goodnight Sweetheart Goodnight," "Peace of Mind," "Stormy Weather" and "I Know"), who are considered the first successful R&B group to come out of the Midwest; The Casinos, who recorded one of the best love songs of all time, "Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye;" and The Shades of Blue ("Oh How Happy"), one of Motown's most popular groups.
