Mid-Autumn Festival Performance presented by Chinese Assoc. of Greater Detroit (CAGD)
The Mid-Autumn Festival is a popular harvest festival celebrated by Chinese, Vietnamese and Filipinos. The festival is held on the 15th day of the eighth month in the lunar calendar. it is considered the second most important holiday tradition after the Chinese New Year. Mid-Autumn Festival is also known as Moon Festival. The festival consists of three fundamental meanings: Family union, Thanksgiving, and Praying.
