Scotty Productions presents "An Evening of Love Songs"

Scotty Productions presents "An Evening of Love Songs" featuring Sunny Turner's The Platters. One of the most successful vocal groups of the early rock and roll era. They have recorded more charted hits than any other artist during their time. Songs like "Only You," "The Great Pretender," "My Prayer," "Magic Touch," Smoke Gets In Your Eyes," and "Twilight Time" to name a few. In 1959 Sonny Turner would replace Tony Williams as the lead singer of The Platters. Sonny took The Platters back on top of the charts with blockbuster hits such as "I Love You 1000 Times" and "With This Ring"! Also appearing, The Skyliners. An American Doo Wop group from Pittsburgh known for recording three of the biggest hits in music history "Since I Don't Have You," "Pennies From Heaven," and "This I Swear". The Chiffons, one of the most successful and popular female groups of all time. Born and raised in the Bronx, these legendary ladies recorded hits like "One Fine Day" and "He's So Fine". The group still features original member, Judy Craig. The Classics, one of the legendary Doo Wop groups to come out of Brooklyn, NY. Their biggest hit was a Doo Wop version of The Mills Brothers hit, "Til Then". The group still features original lead singer Emil Stucchio. The show will open with Motown favorites, The Shades of Blue ("Oh How Happy").
