The Lion King Kids

City of Dearborn Recreation presents our Summer Youth Theater production of The Lion King Kids directed by Rashid Baydoun with Music Director Vanessa El-Zien. Disney's tale of Simba, a young lion prince who just can't wait to be king of the African Pride Lands. The vibrant show brings traditional African styles & rhythms to life. The importance of family, friends and courage are explored with humor and emotion in this entertaining and electrifying musical. Music and Lyrics by Elton John and Tim Rice. Additional Music and Lyrics by Lebo M. Mark Mancina, Jay Rifkin and Hans Zimmer. Book by Roger Allers & Irene Mecchi. Based on Broadway production directed by Julie Taymor. General Admission seating.
